Hello! I'm Angela of Ang Makes Things. I call Seattle home, and as a typical PNW resident, I love to hike with my cat, forage for mushrooms, paddle board, and if you couldn't already tell, I love to make things :)

I learned how to knit when I was a child, but didn't pick it back up until around 2019 when I was badly burnt out from my biotech job and desperate for a hobby to survive the dreary winters of Seattle. 

And then the pandemic hit, and I started having a LOT more time at home to cultivate my intensifying obsession with knitting, crocheting, and fiber arts in general! And as a serial hobbyist...I ended up exploring many other activities, including bullet journaling, plant care, and most recently, ceramics! 

And here I am, a little more than a year after taking my first wheel throwing class, trying to share my art with you all. Thanks for joining me on this journey, and I can't wait to see where this craft takes me!
